Captioning Walden University's Commencement with Keynote Speaker Ziauddin Yousafzai

All Good Reporters was once again honored to  provide the captioning services for Walden University’s Commencement Ceremony at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL. This year’s keynote speaker was none other than Ziauddin Yousafzai, a Pakistani diplomat who, along with his daughter Malala (one of the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winners) have long protested against the Taliban for the rights of education for children, especially young girls.

As we often do in preparation for our captioning and CART assignments, we search the internet for videos and articles on our speakers to familiarize ourselves with their speech patterns and main topics of discussion.  We found this TED Talks video given by Ziauddin Yousafzai which we hope you’ll find as enlightening as we did.
