We are thrilled to have provided CART services for last month’s graduation ceremony for Canine Companions for Independence.
If you aren’t already aware, CART (also called Real-Time Captioning) stands for Communication Access Real-time Translation. It is used by hard of hearing and deaf people who use English as their first language.
The ceremony was held at Sea World in Orlando, Florida.
We wrote captions throughout the ceremony which were displayed so that deaf participants could be privy to every element of this important, transformative and life-changing occasion.
