  By providing CART services for one of the scheduled presenters, All Good Reporters participated at this year’s Sheltering Services Summit on May 7, 2015,  hosted at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Orlando.  We also provided their coffee, tea and bread service to start off their summit with a jolt of caffeine and danish!

In order to administer oaths in depositions, all Florida court reporters are required to apply for and maintain their Florida notary commission.

The first known use of a stenographer to take down and record proceedings by ink to paper was in 1809. Using Stenograph machines and the like, we’re now writing, translating and sending the spoken word instantaneously around the world.  Let’s take a quick look back over 200 years.

In November, singer and social activist Harry Belafonte and his family were speakers at ASHA’s 2014 Cenvention in Orlando .  Later in the week, Senator John Glenn and his wife Annie — who have been married 71 years — were presenters of the Annie Award to Bill and Willie Geist, both journalists and TV personalities.

We recently CARTed the Audiology2014 conference here at the Orange County Convention Center here  in Orlando. We had to output to their encoder for the general assembly.
